Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a part-time driver at The Preserve at Palm Aire in Pompano Beach, FL. Responsibilities include providing safe and courteous transportation for residents and preparing the bus for operation.

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be 21+, possess a valid driver’s license, and meet motor vehicle records clearance. Flexible schedule includes Tuesday afternoons, Saturdays, Sundays, and special events.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable, courteous transportation for residents.
• Prepare the bus for operation and maintain the vehicle.

Looking for: Tuesday afternoon 4pm to 8:30pm,Saturdays 10 to 5pm, and Sundays 9:30 to 2pm as well as special events and vacation coverage.

Details about the Driver position we are hiring for:

As a driver you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation service for our residents. Responsibilities in this role will also include preparing the bus for operation, maintaining bus, and taking the initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a valid and active driver’s license.
• Meet motor vehicle records clearance requirements.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and general public.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks
