Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is seeking a driver/concierge to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents at Worthington Manor in Conroe, TX. The role is currently Part-Time with potential for full-time split duties.

You will operate and prep the bus, ensure resident safety, and maintain courteous service while upholding the organization\'s commitment to compassionate care for the elderly. A valid driver’s license, 21+ age, and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet motor vehicle records clearance.
• Must have current first aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and general public.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents.
• Prepare the bus for operation and maintain the vehicle.
• Prioritize resident safety and satisfaction in service delivery.
• Collaborate with staff and families as needed.

Salary Range: $15.50 - $15.50 Hourly

Details about the Driver position we are hiring for:

As a driver you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation service for our residents. Responsibilities in this role will also include preparing the bus for operation, maintaining bus, and taking the initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.

• Position is currently Part-Time and can be turned into a FT position splitting the driver and concierge position for the right person!
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a valid and active driver’s license.
• Meet motor vehicle records clearance requirements.

• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and general public.
