Job summary

Meridian Senior Living is hiring a Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents and to prep and maintain the bus for operation. You will prioritize resident safety and satisfaction while communicating clearly with residents, families, staff and the public.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, eligibility to drive, a clean motor vehicle record, and CPR/first aid certification. A compassionate, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Meet motor vehicle records clearance requirements.
  • Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Must meet health requirements and pass background checks.
  • First aid and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents.
  • Prepare the bus for operation and maintain the vehicle.
  • Ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and the public.

Details About The Driver Position We Are Hiring For

As a driver you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation service for our residents. Responsibilities in this role will also include preparing the bus for operation, maintaining bus, and taking the initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.

  • Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks
