Job summary

Meridian Senior Living seeks a driver to provide safe and courteous transportation for residents. You will prepare the bus, assist residents, and maintain reliable service with a focus on safety and compassion.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, good communication, and the ability to work as part of a team in a senior living environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid and active driver’s license.
• Meet motor vehicle records clearance requirements.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and general public.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, reliable transportation for residents.
• Prepare the bus for operation and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority during trips.

Details About The Driver Position We Are Hiring For

As a driver you will be responsible for providing safe, reliable, courteous and efficient transportation service for our residents. Responsibilities in this role will also include preparing the bus for operation, maintaining bus, and taking the initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a valid and active driver's license.
• Meet motor vehicle records clearance requirements.
• Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and general public.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work responsibly as a team member as well as an individual
• Must possess current first aid and CPR certification.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must meet all health requirements and pass background checks
