Job summary

Gwynedd Manufacturing in North Wales, PA, seeks a Driver to perform local and out-of-town deliveries, load/unload goods, and support the Shipping/Receiving team in a manufacturing setting.

Applicants should hold a valid driver’s license, forklift certification, and be able to work independently or on a team. Basic math skills and strong communication are also expected. This is a full-time role with safety expectations and occasional tasks moving items up to 50 pounds.

As an innovative company offering a wide array of products, we strive to continuously develop new technology and drive process improvement.Position SummaryThe Driver is an integral position to our company that requires a high sense of urgency. The Driver is responsible for local and out of town deliveries to internal and external parties. Their duties include loading, unloading, and transporting important items. In addition to their transportation responsibilities, The Driver may also be required to support the Shipping/ Receiving team at the direction of the Shipping Manager.Role & ResponsibilitiesSafely transport supplies and packages.Support the shipping team with web/dealer orders as needed.Retrieve mail and packages from the PO Box daily.Transport coffee and lunches daily to their respective locations.Transport materials between buildings as needed.Qualifications and RequirementsAble to work independently or on a team.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Forklift certified.High school diploma or equivalent.Basic math skills.Have a valid driver’s license.Commercial driving experience is preferredPhysical and Work Environment Requirements:This position is based in a manufacturing environment and may require the following over extended periods of time up to a full 8-hour work shift (excluding lunch and breaks): stand, walk, sit, squat or bend, kneel and rise, lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to — and occasionally exceeding — 50 pounds, view a computer or other digital screen, work on a computer, workstation or comparable system, and make accurate entries in such systems. Manual dexterity and fine motor skills are required for detailed assembly and precision work. Work may take place in areas with varying temperatures or no climate control, varying noise levels, and production equipment in motion. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated areas at all times as required by company policy. Reasonable accommodations may be available to enable individuals with disabilities but are always subject to safety concerns for the employee and all team members.
