Job summary

The Salvation Army in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Driver to efficiently pickup and deliver donated items while ensuring friendly, helpful service to donors.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading, maintaining vehicle cleanliness and fuel, reporting maintenance needs, and adhering to safety standards. Seasonal overtime may occur during the Christmas Kettle drive.

Qualifications

• High School diploma / GED or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Experience operating a motorized vehicle.
• Knowledge of roadways within the community and the location of various donation sites.
• Complete Safe From Harm training and keep current as needed.
• Must have and maintain a current valid chauffeur’s license with a chauffeur’s endorsement and pass The Salvation Army MVR check (or gain endorsement within 30 days).
