Job summary

Integrity National Corporation in Monroe, NC is seeking a Driver/Utility Worker to support operations across multiple facilities. You will operate a 14-foot box truck with lift gate, move surplus items, assist with recycling, shredding, and general upkeep to keep sites clean and functional.

The role requires a valid driver's license with a clean record, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexibility to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Move surplus items between facilities.
• Collect and empty recycling at Union County properties three times weekly.
• Assist with shredding and dispose of materials.
• Perform general upkeep and cleaning duties across facilities.
• Set up and move furniture as requested for events.
• Maintain entry areas, clean doors, and manage trash and debris.

Job description

This position will require the Contractor to provide a minimum 14 foot box truck with lift gate. The duties of a driver/general laborer include but are not limited to the following:

• Surplus: move surplus items to and from various facilities
• Recycling: pick up and empty recycling at all Union County properties three times a week
• Shredding: pick up and move boxes to shredding cage and then assist shredding vendor to dispose of material in boxes
• General Upkeep: Deodorize drains. Hose off boot scrapers. Remove grates and vacuum out tray of entrance mats. Check ash urns and refill sand as needed. Run water in the sinks of all janitorial closets. Clean ledges over front entrance and high windows in the Main Library. Empty trash in the Garage building at Patton Avenue complex.
• Set-Up & Move Furniture: move and set-up furniture as requested
• Police Grounds: Paper, bottles, cans, and all other trash and refuse shall be removed from all stairwells, parking lots, and exterior court areas of the buildings. All removed items shall be deposited in the nearest waste/recycling container. Blow leaves and debris from vending area at the Government Center. Blow leaves off steps in the plaza near the outside vending machines of the Government Center every morning.
• Event Set-Up: pick up tables, chairs, podium, or sound equipment as requested and arrange as needed
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record

• Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
• High school diploma or equivalent

Pay Rate: $17.00 $19.00 per hour

Driver/Utility Worker: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
