Job summary

National DCP, LLC (NDCP) is seeking a Driver to deliver products on time to Dunkin’ franchise stores and production kitchens. Expect varied temperatures and outdoor conditions as part of the role.

Pay is competitive at $39.05 per hour with top earners over $90K annually. This is a full-time, on-site position featuring 100% touch freight and routes including Solo Driver and Driver/Driver configurations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record and 6-month driving experience minimum
• Current DOT Medical Certification Card and ability to pass pre-employment requirements
• 100% touch freight experience in FOOD AND BEVERAGE DISTRIBUTION
• Ability to operate 10-speed manual transmission and a lift gate

Responsibilities

• Operate a tractor trailer truck delivering to destinations.
• Perform proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is complete before departing.
• Prepare and provide documentation for deliveries.
• Unload cargo using hand truck or pallet jack safely.
• Scan product labels and report shortages or damages.
• Maintain logs per Federal, State and DOT regulations.
• Communicate delays or issues to NDCP Member Services.
• Keep truck cab clean and dispose of delivery-related trash.
• Serve as primary contact between distribution center and customer.
• Train and work with a Delivery Assistant when applicable.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

1. 1. Operates a tractor trailer truck that transports product to and from specified destinations.
2. 2. Conduct a proper pre-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.
3. 3. Ensures delivery-related paperwork is in order before departing the Distribution Center ortransportation hub.
4. 4. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of products.
5. 5. Unloads cargo and delivers via a two-wheeler hand truck and/or pallet jack in a safe manner intostore locations.
6. 6. Scans all product labels during store deliveries and reports all orders with shorts or damages.
7. 7. Maintains proper logs of travel and product according to Federal, State and DOT regulations.
8. 8. Maintains contact with NDCP’s Member Services team to communicate any problems or delayswith deliveries.
9. 9. Ensures the cleanliness and presentation of the interior of the truck cab, as well as the removal ofdelivery-related trash at the store and production kitchen (i.e., shrink wrap, cardboard, crates andpallets).
10. 10. Conduct a proper post-trip inspection to ensure equipment is in good working order to minimizedelays the following day. Reports any vehicle maintenance or malfunction issues to the distributioncenter.
11. 11. Serves as the face of NDCP and the main point of contact between the distribution center andthe customer.
12. 12. Trains and leverages a Delivery Assistant, as applicable, to ensure the accurate, timely andefficient delivery of product to customer, as well as to assist in the safe maneuvering of the truckentering, exiting and parking at delivery locations.

Qualifications

Qualifications you bring:

1. 1.100% touch freight experience in the FOOD AND BEVERAGE DISTRIBUTION industry
2. 2. Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record. 6-month driving experience minimum, 1 year desired
3. 3. Possess a current DOT Medical Certification Card and successfully pass DOT pre-employment requirements
4. 4. Dependable attendance and a great customer service attitude
5. 6. IF APPLICABLE - Ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission
6. 7. Ability to operate a lift gate and refrigeration unit
7. 8.Must be able to read and communicate in the English language – able to hold a conversation, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records.
8. 9. High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
