Job summary

National DCP, LLC (NDCP) is seeking a Driver to deliver products safely and on time to Dunkin’ franchise stores and production kitchens. You will work with a tractor-trailer in varied temperature environments and outdoor conditions, serving as the face of NDCP for customers.

This full-time role offers $39.05/hour, top earners over $90k/year, 100% touch freight, and Driver/Driver or Driver/Helper routes. Benefits include medical, dental & vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off and

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record; 6 months minimum, 1 year preferred.
  • DOT Medical Certification Card and ability to pass DOT pre-employment.
  • Dependable attendance and strong customer service.
  • Ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission and a lift gate/refrigeration unit.
  • Must read/write English and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in food and beverage distribution preferred (min 6 months).

Responsibilities

  • Operates a tractor-trailer to transport product to destinations.
  • Conducts pre-trip inspection to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Ensures delivery paperwork is in order before leaving DC or hub.
  • Prepares, receives and provides documentation for deliveries.
  • Unloads cargo using hand truck or pallets safely in stores.
  • Scans product labels and reports shorts or damages.
  • Maintains logs per Federal, State and DOT regulations.
  • Maintains contact with NDCP Member Services about delays or problems.
  • Keeps truck cab clean and manages delivery-related trash.
  • Conducts post-trip inspection and reports maintenance issues.
  • Represents NDCP as the main point of contact with customers.
  • Trains and leverages a Delivery Assistant when applicable.

Responsibilities

1. Operates a tractor-trailer truck that transports product to and from specified destinations.2. Conduct a proper pre-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.3. Ensures delivery-related paperwork is in order before departing the Distribution Center ortransportation hub.4. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of products.5. Unloads cargo and delivers via a two-wheeler hand truck and/or pallet jack in a safe manner intostore locations.6. Scans all product labels during store deliveries and reports all orders with shorts or damages.7. Maintains proper logs of travel and product according to Federal, State and DOT regulations.8. Maintains contact with NDCP’s Member Services team to communicate any problems or delayswith deliveries.9. Ensures the cleanliness and presentation of the interior of the truck cab, as well as the removal ofdelivery-related trash at the store and production kitchen (i.e., shrink wrap, cardboard, crates andpallets).10. Conduct a proper post-trip inspection to ensure equipment is in good working order to minimizedelays the following day. Reports any vehicle maintenance or malfunction issues to the distributioncenter.11. Serves as the face of NDCP and the main point of contact between the distribution center andthe customer.12. Trains and leverages a Delivery Assistant, as applicable, to ensure the accurate, timely andefficient delivery of product to customer, as well as to assist in the safe maneuvering of the truckentering, exiting and parking at delivery locations.

Qualifications

1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred

2. Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record. 6-month driving experience minimum, 1year desired3. Possess a current DOT Medical Certification Card and successfully pass DOT pre-employmentrequirements

5. Dependable attendance and a great customer service attitude6. Ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission7. Ability to operate a lift gate and refrigeration unit

8. Must be able to read and communicate in the English language – able to hold a conversation, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records.

9. FOOD AND BEVERAGE DISTRIBUTION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, 6 months minimum
