National DCP, LLC (NDCP) is seeking a Driver based in Bellingham, MA to deliver products safely to Dunkin’ franchise locations and production kitchens. Position involves varied temperature environments and outdoor conditions with 100% touch freight and a 4-day workweek.

Starting shifts at 2:00 am or 3:00 am, pay is competitive: Driver at $39.05/hour and Delivery Assistant at $33.20/hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record; 6 months minimum driving experience.
• DOT Medical Certification Card required.
• Must be able to read and communicate in English.
• Experience in food and beverage distribution industry preferred.
• FMCSA driver qualification requirements must be met.

Responsabilidades

• Operates a tractor-trailer to transport product to destinations.
• Conducts pre-trip inspection for safety.
• Ensures delivery paperwork is in order before leaving the distribution center.
• Prepares and provides documentation for delivery of products.
• Unloads cargo using a hand truck or pallet jack in-store.
• Scans product labels and reports shorts/damages.
• Maintains travel and product logs per regulations.
• Communicates delays or problems to NDCP Member Services.
• Keeps truck cab clean and removes delivery trash.
• Performs post-trip inspection and reports maintenance issues.
• Acts as main point of contact between distribution center and customer.
• Trains/assists Delivery Assistant to ensure accurate, timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

• 1. Operates a tractor trailer truck that transports product to and from specified destinations.
• 2. Conduct a proper pre-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.
• 3. Ensures delivery-related paperwork is in order before departing the Distribution Center ortransportation hub.
• 4. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of products.
• 5. Unloads cargo and delivers via a two-wheeler hand truck and/or pallet jack in a safe manner intostore locations.
• 6. Scans all product labels during store deliveries and reports all orders with shorts or damages.
• 7. Maintains proper logs of travel and product according to Federal, State and DOT regulations.
• 8. Maintains contact with NDCP’s Member Services team to communicate any problems or delayswith deliveries.
• 9. Ensures the cleanliness and presentation of the interior of the truck cab, as well as the removal ofdelivery-related trash at the store and production kitchen (i.e., shrink wrap, cardboard, crates andpallets).
• 10. Conduct a proper post-trip inspection to ensure equipment is in good working order to minimizedelays the following day. Reports any vehicle maintenance or malfunction issues to the distributioncenter.
• 11. Serves as the face of NDCP and the main point of contact between the distribution center andthe customer.
• 12. Trains and leverages a Delivery Assistant, as applicable, to ensure the accurate, timely andefficient delivery of product to customer, as well as to assist in the safe maneuvering of the truckentering, exiting and parking at delivery locations.

Qualifications

Qualifications you bring:

• 1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred
• 2. Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record. 6-month driving experience minimum, 1-year desired
• 3. Possess a current DOT Medical Certification Card and successfully pass DOT pre-employment requirements
• 4. Dependable attendance and a great customer service attitude
• 6. IF APPLICABLE - Ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission
• 7. Ability to operate a lift gate and refrigeration unit

8.Must be able to read and communicate in the English language – able to hold a conversation, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records.

9. Experience in the food and beverage distribution industry required

Must satisfy all applicable FMCSA driver qualification requirements, including the to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and complete required ability reports and records.
