Job summary

National DCP is seeking a dedicated Driver in Greensboro, NC to deliver products to Dunkin’ locations and production kitchens. The role involves operating a tractor trailer, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining delivery paperwork, and ensuring on-time, safe deliveries in varying environments.

The position is full-time with competitive pay of $35.68/hour and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental & vision, FSA/HSA, life/AD&D, disability, 401(k) with match,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record; 6 months minimum experience, 1 year preferred.
• DOT Medical Certification Card; pass pre-employment checks.
• Dependable attendance and a great customer service attitude.
• Ability to operate a 10-speed manual transmission.
• Ability to operate a lift gate and refrigeration unit.
• 100% touch freight in food and beverage distribution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates a tractor trailer truck delivering to destinations.

• Ensures delivery paperwork is correct before leaving.
• Prepares and provides documentation for deliveries.
• Unloads cargo using hand truck or pallet jack.
• scans product labels and reports shortages or damages.

• Maintains communication with NDCP Member Services for delays.
• Keeps cab clean and manages delivery-related trash.
• Conducts post-trip inspection and reports maintenance issues.
• Serves as main contact between distribution center and customers.
• Trains/assists Delivery Assistant for efficient deliveries.
• No direct supervisory responsibilities; may guide a Delivery Assistant.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do

1. Operates a tractor trailer truck that transports product to and from specified destinations. 2. Conduct a proper pre-trip inspection to ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.3. Ensures delivery-related paperwork is in order before departing the Distribution Center or transportation hub.4. Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of products.5. Unloads cargo and delivers via a two-wheeler hand truck and/or pallet jack in a safe manner into store locations.6. Scans all product labels during store deliveries, and reports all orders with shorts or damages.7. Maintains proper logs of travel and product according to Federal, State and DOT regulations.8. Maintains contact with NDCP’s Member Services team to communicate any problems or delaywith deliveries.9. Ensures the cleanliness and presentation of the interior of the truck cab, as well as the removal of delivery-related trash at the store and production kitchen (i.e., shrink wrap, cardboard, crates and pallets).10. Conduct a proper post-trip inspection to ensure equipment is in good working order to minimize delays the following day. Reports any vehicle maintenance or malfunction issues to the distribution center.11. Serves as the face of NDCP and the main point of contact between the distribution center and the customer.12. Trains and leverages a Delivery Assistant, as applicable, to ensure the accurate, timely and efficient delivery of product to customer, as well as to assist in the safe maneuvering of the truck entering, exiting and parking at delivery locations.

Supervision Exercised No direct supervisory responsibilities but may direct a Delivery Assistant assigned to the route.

Qualifications

Qualifications you bring:

1.High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

2. Valid Class A CDL license with a clean driving record. 6-month driving experience minimum, 1 year desired
