Job summary

Carroll Construction Supply in Lincoln, NE is seeking a CDL driver to haul construction equipment and materials to job sites and Carroll stores, using flatbed trucks or pickups with gooseneck trailers.

You will work with a team to ensure loads are accurate and delivered on time, help with warehouse duties when not on the road, and enjoy year‑round employment with benefits while returning home each night.

This is a full‑time, on‑site position with an employee‑owned company across 35 locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Class B CDL
• Clean driving record
• Pass pre-employment drug test and physical
• Flatbed experience helpful
• Knowledge of building materials is a plus
• Team player and motivated to succeed

Responsibilities

• Haul equipment and materials to job sites and stores using flatbed or gooseneck trailer.
• Coordinate with team to ensure loads are accurate and on time.
• Assist with warehouse duties when not driving.
• Be home every night and weekends.

Job description

Carroll Construction Supply is in need of a CDL Driver to haul construction equipment and materials to job sites and to our other Carroll stores, who will be driving a flatbed truck or pickup with a gooseneck trailer. Our drivers play a big part in our day-to-day operations as they work heavily with others to ensure accuracy of loads and delivery of product is done right and on time. When our drivers aren't on the road, they are still contributing by assisting with other duties as needed around the warehouse. With the variety of tasks they are offered, our drivers are assured year-round employment along with year-round benefits. Our drivers also enjoy their families as they are able to be home every night and weekend. Additional Requirements to be Considered:

• Previous knowledge and experience in the building materials industry is beneficial
• Flatbed Experience is helpful
