Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and transport for the Company.
• Follow and promote safe work practices.
• Maintain a valid driving record.
• Follow all state and national driving laws, rules, and regulations.
• Coordinate daily with Fabrication Manager/Superintendent.
• Follow prearranged routes to destinations or use maps and GPS to navigate routes.
• Must maintain vehicle upkeep and cleanliness.
• Work to promote and cultivate a positive culture among PSG employees.
• Must be able to safely haul a trailer.
• Practice safe driving habits.
• Follow all state and national safety regulations and standards.
• Accurately follow routes, maps, and directions.
• Deliver materials to job sites or other locations as instructed.
• Load and unload trailers as needed.
• Keep interior and exterior of vehicles clean and free of clutter.
• Maintain vehicle and trailer equipment.
• Follow schedules and rerouting in a timely manner when faced with traffic or congestion.
• Handle all customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly and informative manner.
• Collect any documents when necessary.
• Complete necessary paperwork and reports.
• Sign off on every delivery made and return load list/delivery list to the appropriate person. File a copy of the delivery/load list.
• Create a load list if one is not available to be signed and returned.
• Daily log of deliveries made with photos of the delivery and signed load list.
