Job summary

Oxford Senior Living in Kansas City, MO, seeks a Driver for full-time manual labor. This role provides transportation to medical and personal appointments and helps with group or individual leisure activities, contributing to a homelike atmosphere for residents.

Your Driver duties and responsibilities include:

Position Summary

This position provides transportation to and from medical and personal appointments and group or individual leisure activities upon request.

Essential Functions

Transportation

  • Ensure residents are transported safely to and from personal appointments upon request
  • Facilitate leisure outings, including transportation, for residents including, but not limited to: shopping, sight-seeing, etc.

Customer Service

  • Continually observe resident satisfaction with life engagement programming and look for opportunities to engage resident families for feedback regarding individual resident preferences
  • Communicate with community leadership and resident families regarding successes and challenges observed while transporting residents and leading leisure excursions
  • Educate residents, resident families, community leaders, and team members on the importance of life engagement programming
  • Serve as a resource for team members regarding opportunities for additional informal life engagement activities outside of the scheduled programming

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
