Job summary

The Laylow Waikiki is seeking a friendly, professional Driver to welcome guests, transport them safely, and assist with entry and exit from the property. This full-time role in Honolulu requires a positive, guest‑driven attitude and excellent knowledge of local hotel facilities.

You will read guests, anticipate needs, and maintain a smooth, discreet service experience that aligns with our mid‑century Hawaiian hospitality. Luggage handling may be required and a professional appearance is expected.

This individual has a sincere demeanor that allows guests to feel like they are being welcomed home from the time they step out of their car until we see their taillights. They have a knowledge of all of the happenings on property to ensure they are able to answer any questions the guests might ask them.

Requested Tasks

• -Greet and welcome every guest. Ensure every guest receives a fond farewell. Identify and explain hotel facilities and features to guest
• -Engage guests in a friendly and professional yet warm manner
• -Safely and securely drive every guest vehicle. Safely and securely stores guest vehicle keys
• -Open doors and assist guest/visitors entering/leaving property

Requested Capabilities

• -Ability to lift at least 50 pounds (luggage, packages, etc.)
• -Approachable and professional personality
• -Valid Driver's License
• -Ability to read guests and anticipate their needs
• -Ability to walk and stand for extended periods at a time
