Job summary

The Laylow, Autograph Collection Hotel in Waikiki seeks an experienced Front of House leader to oversee and support our dining operations. You will develop and motivate the team, ensuring a warm, seamless guest experience across outlets, and manage guest requests with a professional, aloha spirit.

Responsibilities include coordinating service, assisting with scheduling and payroll, and guiding staff to deliver exceptional hospitality while upholding Makeready's standards and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant teams or front-of-house operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with guest focus.
• Proven ability to develop and motivate staff.

This leader possesses the ability to inspire staff, encourage teamwork and achieve the collective goals of the restaurants and bars. Your primary role is to oversee and support the front of house operations, develop, and motivate your team members and deliver an enjoyable dining experience for all.

Requested Tasks

• Ensure that service is run effectively and smoothly
• Assist with managing team members
• Assist with guest requests and needs that may arise
• Process payroll and work with team member schedules

Requested Capabilities

• Prior experience in Restaurant management highly preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and highly organized
• Strong communication skills; approachable and professional
• Prior team leadership highly preferred
