CLEAResult is seeking a Driver for the Appliance Recycling program in Crown Point, IN. You will operate a 16-ft box truck, service multiple customer locations, and work with a team to safely deliver and remove large appliances.

The role requires physical capability, customer focus, and flexibility with scheduling, including occasional extended days. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 21, and pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Comfortable performing physical work, including heavy lifting and repetitive movement.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.

• Willingness to learn – full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided box truck to pick up residential refrigerators and freezers scheduled for recycling.
• Visit customer homes daily, verify appliance eligibility, and ensure program requirements are met.
• Safely load, secure, and transport appliances using dollies, straps, and proper lifting techniques.
• Maneuver and move appliances weighing approximately 150-250 lbs using team-lifting methods.
• Transport collected appliances to a warehouse or recycling facility.
• Interact professionally with customers, providing courteous service and clear communication.
• Follow safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and company policies at all times.
• Contribute to environmental sustainability by ensuring appliances are responsibly removed and recycled.

Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual… To join our team as a Driver to support our Appliance Recycling program. In this role, you will operate a 16-ft box truck to service multiple customer locations each day, working closely with a team to safely deliver and remove large appliances. The ideal candidate is physically capable, customer-oriented, and flexible with scheduling, including occasional extended days. Targeted Compensation Range $22/h

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

DOT Requirements If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Compensation Range $17.75 - $25.05 Currency USD Type Hourly Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
