Job summary

CLEAResult is seeking a Driver to support our Appliance Recycling program in the Marion/Cedar Rapids area. You will operate a 26‑ft box truck to visit customer homes daily, verify eligibility, and safely load, transport, and unload appliances for recycling.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service, with training provided, a strong willingness to learn, and adherence to DOT and company policies. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided box truck to pick up residential refrigerators and freezers scheduled for recycling.
• Visit customer homes daily, verify appliance eligibility, and ensure program requirements are met.
• Safely load, secure, and transport appliances using dollies, straps, and proper lifting techniques.
• Move appliances weighing approximately 150–250 lbs using team-lifting methods.
• Transport collected appliances to a warehouse or recycling facility.
• Interact professionally with customers, providing courteous service and clear communication.
• Follow safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and company policies at all times.
• Contribute to environmental sustainability by ensuring appliances are responsibly removed and recycled.

To join our team as a Driver to support our Appliance Recycling program. In this role, you will operate a 26‑ft box truck to service multiple customer locations each day, working closely with a team to safely deliver and remove large appliances. The ideal candidate is physically capable, customer‑oriented, and flexible with scheduling, including occasional extended days. This position requires working in a variety of environments and weather conditions while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service.

Must be located in the Marion/Cedar Rapids area.

Targeted Compensation Range

$24/h

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass apost‑offer, pre‑employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver’s license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
