Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a delivery driver to transport and deliver goods on a set schedule, including overtime for emergencies. The role requires a California license and an excellent safety record, with the ability to lift 50 pounds and wear safety toe footwear.

You will inspect and secure loads, load/unload freight as needed, and interact professionally with customers. Daily routes cover various plants and offices with emphasis on safety, punctuality, and proper PPE usage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience as a delivery driver.
• Valid California driver license with a clean driving record per company criteria.
• Pass DOT physical.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Wear safety toe footwear.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver according to schedule, including overtime for emergencies or rush deliveries.
• Verify count and condition of transported items and report damages.
• Assist in loading and unloading freight as required.
• Secure loads properly and ensure weight limits are respected.
• Operate truck in a safe manner and perform daily truck inspections.
• Maintain a positive image to customers and the public.
• Ensure good customer relations by delivering orders on time and courteously.
