Job summary

Forshaw is seeking a Delivery Driver to fulfill scheduled route deliveries and assist with branch warehouse duties. You will load, deliver, and unload orders, maintain documentation, and communicate with customers on timelines and service details.

The role requires a valid license with a clean record, ability to meet early-morning start times, and adherence to DOT/OSHA rules. Basic computer skills and forklift experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• 2 years driving experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be able to obtain a DOT medical card (CDL not required)
• Available to begin by early morning
• Ability to respond to official inquiries and make entries on reports and records
• Must be able to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Understanding of highway traffic signs and signals
• Basic computer experience or knowledge is a plus
• Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain good customer relations by communicating in person with customers, providing information on ordering and delivery times

• Operate a forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Comply with all DOT and OSHA regulations
• Maintain appropriate driver's license and endorsements

The Delivery Driver will deliver products to businesses on a scheduled route or intermittently, serve customers by meeting customer needs and resolving customer problems, and work at the branch warehouse, which includes but is not limited to maintaining the dock, loading, and performing warehouse duties.
