Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Burlington, MA is seeking a Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for residents. You will assist with boarding, ensure safety, and maintain vehicle readiness.

The role emphasizes reliability, strong communication, and the ability to handle emergencies. You’ll be part of a team that supports resident well-being and community experiences at Sunrise Senior Living.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED; age 21
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• CPR certification (as required)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment
• Complete required driving logs and documentation
• Report resident changes in condition
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Assist with activities when not driving

Pay Range:

19.65 - 24.65
