Job summary

International Auto Processing LLC in Brunswick, GA seeks a Driver to operate vehicles per handling procedures and safety rules, driving to designated points and ensuring proper spacing between vehicles.

Responsibilities include back-to-back trips, observing safety rules, verifying load line numbers, and placing work orders as instructed. A TWIC badge and valid US license are required, with readiness for varied weather and locations.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED OR 1+ year work experience with no more than 2 employers.
  • Valid US Driver’s License.
  • Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security
  • Experience operating automatic and straight (manual) shift vehicles

  • Drive vehicles to designated points as instructed in accordance with vehicle handling procedures and safety rules.
  • Park vehicles in approved manor insuring proper spacing between vehicles
  • Return to the van without delay to be transported to the next location.
  • Observe all safety precautions and speed limits.
  • When driving vehicles to the load line, verify load line number and park vehicle in correct lane.
  • Place work orders and/or other inserts in the vehicles as instructed
  • In accordance with policies and procedures, obey all safety procedures (i.e., accident reporting), hazardous communications standards and vehicle handling procedures.
  • Ensure a spotter is present when backing up vehicles.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Working Conditions:
  • Work in confined spaces
  • Step up approximately 18 inches into an open van
  • Work at heights up to 15 feet
  • Extended periods of standing, kneeling and bending.
  • Work in varying climates as well as be exposed to outdoor elements such as heat, cold, rain, and other conditions
