Job summary

Provive Wellness in Brentwood, TN seeks a reliable Transportation Driver to safely transport clients to and from the facility, appointments, and community services. This full-time role runs 7:30am–4pm, Monday–Friday, requiring professionalism, compassion, and strong boundaries.

Responsibilities include operating a 12–14 passenger van, assisting clients, maintaining logs, and reporting concerns. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or sober living preferred.
• Experience driving passengers or working in healthcare/social services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 12-14 passenger van to transport clients to appointments and programs.
• Assist clients in boarding/exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Maintain safety guidelines and ensure seat belts are used.
• Keep a calm, respectful environment during transport.
• Observe and report client concerns to staff.
• Follow traffic laws and transportation policies.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Keep vehicle clean and logs up to date.
• Communicate schedules and delays with staff; respond to emergencies per protocols.

We are seeking a reliable Transportation Driver to safely transport clients to and from treatment and required appointments.

Position Overview:

The Transportation Driver is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from the facility, appointments, and community-based services. This role requires a high level of professionalism, patience, and compassion when interacting with individuals experiencing mental health and substance use challenges. Hours: 7:30am-4pm, Monday-Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate company's 12-14 passenger van to transport clients to scheduled destinations (appointments, programs, residences, etc.)-

• Assist clients in boarding and exiting the vehicle when necessary

• Ensure all passengers follow safety guidelines, including seat belt use

• Maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive environment during transport

• Observe and report any client behavioral or medical concerns to appropriate staff

• Adhere to all traffic laws and facility transportation policies

• Perform routine vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, cleanliness) and report maintenance needs

• Keep the vehicle clean, sanitary, and presentable at all times

• Maintain accurate transportation logs, schedules, and incident reports

• Communicate effectively with staff regarding schedules, delays, or client issues

• Respond appropriately in emergency situations, following facility protocols

Qualifications:

• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or sober living preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

• Strong ability to set boundaries and enforce rules consistently

• Reliable, punctual, and highly accountable

• Comfortable working independently

• Previous experience driving passengers or working in healthcare/social services preferred

• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
