Universal Health Services is seeking a Transport Driver at Intermountain Hospital in Boise. This PRN role involves providing safe transportation for clients to and from the facility and ensuring courteous, supportive assistance during boarding and alighting.

The position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, an Idaho driver's license with a clean record, and CPR certification is preferred (training provided). You will work a shift between 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

  • Current driver's license within the State of Idaho with an excellent driving record.

Shift: PRN with the potential of hours between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

Our Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation for clients to and from the facility. The Driver will assist clients in a pleasant and respectful manner and assist clients with boarding and departing vehicles.

Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent. Experience transporting clientele preferred. Current driver's license within the State of Idaho with an excellent driving record. CPR certification is required (we will train).

Skills: Basic computer skills required. Ability to use Word, Excel and willingness to learn internal computer programs. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers. Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures. Ability to use good judgment and to maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to work as a team player. Ability to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication. Ability to problem solve, utilizing good judgment. Ability to accept direction and adhere to policies and procedures. Ability to recognize the importance of adapting to the various patient age groups (adolescent, adult and geriatric). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situation.
