Intermountain Hospital in Boise is seeking a Transport Driver to provide safe transportation for clients to and from the facility. You will assist clients politely and help with boarding and departures, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the ride.

The role is PRN with potential hours from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, based in a 151-bed behavioral health facility set on 10 acres near the foothills. CPR training is provided if needed.

Formación

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Idaho driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • CPR certification is required (we will train).

Shift: PRN with the potential of hours between 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday

This 151-bed facility is located on 10 beautiful acres near the foothills of Idaho's dramatic Sawtooth Mountains. Our Driver is responsible for providing safe transportation for clients to and from the facility. The Driver will assist clients in a pleasant and respectful manner and assist clients with boarding and departing vehicles.

Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or equivalent. Experience transporting clientele preferred. Current driver's license within the State of Idaho with an excellent driving record. CPR certification is required (we will train).

Skills: Basic computer skills required. Ability to use Word, Excel and willingness to learn internal computer programs. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and co-workers. Ability to adhere to safety policies and procedures. Ability to use good judgment and to maintain confidentiality of information. Ability to work as a team player. Ability to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience and dedication. Ability to problem solve, utilizing good judgment. Ability to accept direction and adhere to policies and procedures. Ability to recognize the importance of adapting to the various patient age groups (adolescent, adult and geriatric). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to meet deadlines. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situation.
