Job summary

Rose Senior Living Beachwood is recruiting a hospitality-focused Driver to join our team. This role transports residents to grocery stores, monthly outings and extended trips, and assists with housekeeping as required.

Hours are 8:30am to 5pm, with a salary of $16.00 per hour. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of bus/van driving experience. Vaccination status policies may apply as a condition of employment.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months experience as a bus/van driver required

Responsibilities

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
• Assist Director of Life Enrichment or Life Enrichment Coordinator in assisting residents on and off bus/van, tracking attendance and coordinating equipment (walkers, wheelchairs, canes etc.).
• Load groceries and other purchased items into bus/van.
• Schedule and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance.
• Clean and wash vehicle.
• May perform housekeeping functions as directed.
• Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Driver:

• Drive van, bus or automobile on regular schedule to meet resident needs.
