Pride Global is hiring Safety Drivers to support testing and development of autonomous vehicles in Austin, TX. You will test next-generation vehicles on real-world roads while gaining hands-on experience in an innovative industry.

This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with multiple shift options. You will operate vehicles, switch between manual driving and autonomous mode, and collaborate with remote operators and engineering teams to collect data and improve transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Strong driving skills and excellent situational awareness.
• Comfortable using technology and following detailed procedures.

We’re hiring Safety Drivers to support the testing and development of autonomous vehicles in Austin, TX. You’ll help test next‑generation vehicles on real‑world roads while gaining hands‑on experience in an innovative industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate autonomous vehicles during on‑road testing
• Alternate between manual driving and supervising autonomous mode
• Monitor traffic, road conditions, the vehicle, and surrounding environment
• Identify hazards and respond quickly and safely
• Work with remote operators and engineering teams
• Perform vehicle safety checks before and after shifts
• Collect driving and vehicle performance data
• Document observations and testing activities
• Assist with basic technical tasks, hardware adjustments, and software uploads
• Support basic troubleshooting as needed

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license for 3+ years
• Strong driving skills and excellent situational awareness
