Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Driver responsible for safe, timely transportation of residents to activities and events. You will assist residents with special needs and help with loading/unloading and vehicle safety.

A valid Georgia license with clean MVR is required, along with ability to operate a wheelchair lift and perform routine vehicle maintenance. This on-site role supports the Life Enrichment program and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current valid Georgia driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and emergency response.

Job Title: DriverReports To: Life Enrichment DirectorSummary: The Driver is responsible for providing safe, timely, and courteous transportation for residents to and from various activities while providing quality service. The driver may also participate in activities as requested by the Life Enrichment Director.Responsibilities and Duties:Works with Life Enrichment to ensure transportation for residentsProvides transportation to medical offices, retail stores, churches, voting precincts, special events, general errands, and other as neededEnsure that the policies and procedures are effective and enforced to support the health and safety of the residentsComplete vehicle inspection logsAssists residents with any special needs during the transportation process, such as carrying packages, opening doors, assisting residents onto and out of the vehicle and to the point of destinationAssist with activities when available and as requested by the Life Enrichment DirectorObeys all state driving laws and requirementsEnsures residents and associates are all safely secured in all seatsProvide routine maintenance and cleaning of facility bus and/or cars such as washing the vehicle and cleaning the interiorEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or GED requiredMust have a current valid driver’s license in the state of Georgia and clean MVRKnowledge and Skills:Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety proceduresAbility to react calmly in emergency situations and be considerateAbility to operate a chair lift and secure regular and mechanical wheelchairs and scooters
