Job summary

My CNH Reman in Springfield, MO is seeking a Production Technician I - Driveline Disassembler to disassemble driveline components and inspect parts per process instructions. You will follow safety, quality, and process controls while operating tools and equipment in a climate-controlled, hearing-conserved environment.

The role requires reading and following work instructions, reliable attendance, and basic problem-solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED).
• Regular, predictable and reliable attendance.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, SDS, GHS labels, JSA.
• Ability to work with computers and software systems; must wear PPE.
• Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, twist, reach, push and pull.
• Lifting requirements by area vary; ranges include up to 20–50 lbs as applicable.
• Work in a hearing conservation environment.
• Work in a climate-controlled environment.
• Preferred 2+ years in manufacturing/industrial environment with at least 3 months in production.
• Associate degree: Machine Tool and Technology

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions, submit PCR for incorrect work instructions, contribute to continuous improvement.
• Team Player, communicate effectively
• Uses existing procedures and basic problem-solving techniques to define or resolve routine problems
• Complete daily hoist inspection, daily pallet jack inspection, maintain good housekeeping practices
• Operate manual pallet jack, hoist, H-Press, parts washer, copy machine, torch, various air tools, main wash, solvent tank, computer, and drill
• Utilize various hand tools such as mallet, pliers, and screwdriver
• Disassemble core per established processes
• Complete disassembly in time allotted per standard hours for each part
• Wash core
• Clean disassembled core pieces and grind them to meet specifications
• Send usable parts to inspection
• Send questionable parts to salvage
