Job summary

My CNH Reman is hiring a Production Technician I - Driveline Disassembler for the 2nd shift in Springfield, MO. The role runs Monday–Thursday, 4:00 pm–2:30 am, with occasional Friday 4:00 pm–10:00 pm, focusing on cleaning, disassembling, and inspecting driveline parts while adhering to safety and quality standards.

You will work with safety, quality, and production teams to meet regulatory and quality requirements, follow procedures, and maintain a clean, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or HiSet (formerly GED).
  • Regular, predictable attendance required.
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, SDS, GHS labels, JSA.
  • Must be able to operate computers and software systems and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

  • Follow work instructions and submit PCR for incorrect instructions.
  • Be a team player and communicate effectively.
  • Use standard procedures and basic problem-solving to address routine issues.
  • Perform daily hoist and pallet jack inspections and maintain housekeeping.
  • Operate tools and equipment including hoists, presses, wash stations, torches, drills, and air tools.
  • Disassemble cores per established processes and ensure timely completion.

Production Technician I - Driveline Disassembler 2nd Shift (Springfield MO)

This position is 2nd shift. Monday through Thursday 4 pm to 2:30 am and an occasional Friday 4 pm to 10 pm. As the driveline disassembler you will perform routine and non-routine production duties by following written processes and control plans to clean, disassemble, and inspect parts for driveline. Must work with the safety department to ensure all local, state and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met, OSHA 1910, NFPA, DNR. Must work with the quality department to ensure all quality standards are met.

Essential Functions:
  • Follow work instructions, submit PCR for incorrect work instructions, contribute to continuous improvement
  • Team Player, communicate effectively
  • Uses existing procedures and basic problem-solving techniques to define or resolve routine problems
  • Complete daily hoist inspection, daily pallet jack inspection, maintain good housekeeping practices
  • Operate manual pallet jack, hoist, H-Press, parts washer, copy machine, torch, various air tools, main wash, solvent tank, computer, and drill
  • Utilize various hand tools such as mallet, pliers, and screwdriver
  • Disassemble core per established processes
  • Complete disassembly in time allotted per standard hours for each part
  • Wash core
  • Clean disassembled core pieces and grind them to meet specifications
  • Send useable parts to inspection
  • S end questionable parts to salvage
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or HiSet (Formerly GED)

    • Carraro : up to 30 lbs. constantly, 31-40 lbs. frequently, and 41-49 lbs. occasionally
    • Combine : up to 30 lbs. constantly, 31-40 lbs. frequently, and 41-49 lbs. occasionally
    • Fuji : up to 20 lbs. constantly, 21-40 lbs. frequently, 41-49 lbs. occasionally
  • Work in a hearing conservation environment
  • Work in a climate controlled environment
Preferred:
  • Preferred 2 + years of experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment with at least 3 months in production
  • Associate degree: Machine Tool and Technology
