Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is hiring for a vehicle handler/lot attendant to move, stage, and park vehicles on Auction property. The role involves driving vehicles to and from Auction lots and customer sites, and ensuring safe passage through sale lanes on sale days.

Shift is Monday–Friday 9am–7pm (29 hours max per week). Compensation is $13.75 per hour with potential additional incentives and a benefits package including health care, 401(k), and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Ability to lift 1–15 pounds.
• Vision abilities include color vision and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by supervisor or team leader.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed, inflate tires and jump start vehicles when required.
• Notify supervisor if a vehicle is inoperative or out of gas, and coordinate with Service or Gas Truck Driver.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and actively participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
