Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a part-time Driver for Auction operations. The role focuses on moving, staging, and parking vehicles on the auction property, and driving between lots, customer lots, and lanes on sale days with strict safety adherence.

The position requires safe driving, a valid license, and the ability to stand, walk, and lift light loads. Prior auction experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is expected. Overtime may be required as business needs arise.

Qualifications

• Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time and walk long distances.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and operate vehicles with both manual and automatic transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through auction lanes on sale days in a safe manner.
• Transport vehicles to designated areas on the premises and to customer dealerships and businesses.
• Line up and park vehicles in order; locate vehicles as directed by supervisor.
• Assist with basic vehicle issues (inflate tires, jump start) and report inoperative/low fuel vehicles.
