Job summary

Cox Enterprises is seeking a reliable vehicle operations helper to manage the safe moving, staging, and parking of cars on Auction property. You will drive vehicles to auction lanes, between lots, and to dealerships, following safety rules and courteous driving practices.

Typical hours vary by auction day with a pay rate of $17.52 per hour. Responsibilities include basic vehicle checks, assisting customers, and maintaining orderly vehicle placement on site.

Qualifications

• Safe drivers with valid license.
• Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
• Ability to walk long distances.
• Prolonged standing, walking, reaching, talking and hearing.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles through Auction lanes on sale day in a safe manner.
• Drive vehicles to and from designated areas on Auction premises and to and from customer dealerships and businesses, while observing rules of the road.
• Line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the supervisor; move vehicles as necessary.
• Assist with getting vehicles operating as needed; inflate tires and jump-start vehicles if necessary; notify supervisor if inoperative.
• Assist customers and coworkers as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in Safety Excellence activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned; overtime may be required.
