Job summary

Hazen and Sawyer in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Drinking Water Project Engineer to join our design team. You will work on all phases of drinking water and water reuse projects, providing project engineering and management support.

The role requires a civil/environmental/chemical/mechanical engineering degree, a PE license, and 4–12 years of relevant experience. Strong communication, collaboration with clients, and mentoring junior staff are essential; knowledge of MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil/environmental/chemical/mechanical engineering
  • PE license
  • 4-12 years of experience in municipal water treatment, water quality, water treatment technology, or manufacturing
  • Experience delivering projects spanning multiple years in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proficient in all MS Office based computer software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and capable of interacting effectively with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies
  • Self-starter with attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must be capable of presenting complex issues to nontechnical people

Responsibilities

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a Drinking Water Project Engineer for our Charlotte, NC office. As part of our design and process teams, you will be working on all phases of drinking water / reuse projects.
