7 Leaves Café in Monrovia, California is hiring a Drink Cook to handle the creation, quality, storage and packaging of our coffee and tea products. You will brew our signature bases, produce beverages, and work closely with store management and kitchen staff to ensure consistent production.

The role emphasizes adherence to safety standards, accurate inventory, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Training is part of the position, with emphasis on reliability and precision.

Qualifications

• Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
• Proficiency with technology/computer systems (i.e. Excel, attendance system, ordering system).
• Have excellent communication, problem solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage bakery operations independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and walking.
• Eagerness to learn and build on constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Develop familiarity with all 7 Leaves recipes, prep times, and measurements to produce coffee and teas.
• Adhere to food safety protocols– company and state guidelines– to ensure safety and quality.
• Regularly inventory and order to ensure adequate supply of ingredients and products are prepared per company specs.
• Maintain calm and professional demeanor during high volume or additional orders.
• Communicate and collaborate with upper management and teammates to address issues.
• Report to work on time for each shift and fulfill duties as directed.
• Regularly lifting at least 50 lbs throughout the shift.
