Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an experienced and results-driven Drilling Superintendent, Grade Control, to provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and oversight for grade control drilling services across NGM.

This role is critical to maximizing ore recovery, supporting production objectives, and driving operational efficiencies through best-in-class drilling practices, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

12+ years of drilling management experience
7+ years of managing drilling crews
Experience in grade control drilling
Experience overseeing drilling contractors
International experience preferred
Knowledge of production planning integration with drilling
Knowledge of QA/QC for drilling data
Experience in mining environments

Responsibilities

Lead planning, execution, and optimization of grade control and drilling programs
Develop drilling strategies and operational improvements
Oversee priorities, contractor performance, and program execution
Ensure accurate collection and management of geological data
Monitor budgets and provide reports to leadership
Drive innovation and adoption of new drilling technologies
Maintain environmental, health, safety, and governance standards
Promote safe work practices and regulatory compliance
Lead and mentor drilling teams
Perform other duties as assigned
