Job summary

Helmerich & Payne, Inc. in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Software Support & Sustaining Engineer to serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and product teams.

You will troubleshoot, reproduce defects, drive resolution, and contribute to test automation and UAT while promoting quality, reliability, and continuous improvement across the software lifecycle. This on-site role requires strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration with remote operations centers and development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Geoscience, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in software support, software engineering, QA, testing, or related technical role.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Demonstrated persistence and attention to detail when investigating complex technical issues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary technical liaison between customers, Product Development Management, QA, and Software Engineering teams.
• Support production software applications, troubleshoot customer issues, reproduce defects, identify root causes, and drive resolution.
• Contribute to test automation, UAT, feature verification, and knowledge transfer.
• Influence product quality by sharing customer workflows and promoting continuous improvement.
