Vibrantz Technologies in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced R&D Engineer, Energy to lead product development in drilling fluids and additives for oil and gas applications. You will coordinate lab activities, collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and customers, and provide technical leadership for new product innovations, scale-up, and performance improvements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in drilling fluids.
Experience with laboratory and product development.
Experience using project management software.
Strong technical documentation and communication skills

Responsibilities

Develop new drilling fluids products and additives.
Identify unmet market needs and opportunities for product development.
Plan and supervise laboratory activities and scale-up initiatives.
Support manufacturing and process engineering to improve yields and profitability.
Provide technical support to customers and internal stakeholders.
Manage R&D project activities and documentation.
