Vibrantz Technologies in Houston, TX is seeking an R&D Engineer, Energy to lead development of drilling fluids and additives for oil and gas applications. You will drive product innovation, identify market opportunities, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and customers to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires a strong background in drilling fluids, hands-on lab experience, and proven project management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering or related discipline.
5+ years of drilling fluids and/or drilling fluid additives experience.
Laboratory and product development experience with lab equipment, testing and safety.
Experience using project management software to plan experiments and manage results.
Strong technical reporting and communication skills for cross-functional work.

Responsabilités

Develop new drilling fluids products and additives with engineers, Sales and customers.
Identify unmet market needs to strengthen R&D pipeline.
Plan and supervise lab activities, guide technicians, and develop testing procedures.
Support manufacturing projects to improve yields, performance, and profitability.
Provide technical support and communicate development results to stakeholders.
Manage R&D project timelines, documentation, and reports with proper lab practices.
