Job summary

Sierra Circuits, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Drilling Area Assistant to prepare jobs for drilling and move them out of the department once completed. This is a regular full-time position in a manufacturing environment.

You will review travelers, perform routine machining support tasks, operate deburring and cleaning equipment, assist with kitting, and help maintain the work area. Candidates should have a high school diploma and strong written/verbal communication, basic computer skills,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and math aptitude.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand/walk all day.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task.
• Able to read and follow technical work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Review travelers and follow any special instructions.
• Perform Flash Rout and Spot Face operations.
• Move jobs in ProCim and between buildings.
• Run de-burring equipment.
• Hand sand and cleaning of panels as required.
• Assist with Kitting.
• Area maintenance – general cleaning and trash removal.
• Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per day.
• Other duties as assigned.
