Job summary

Brightcore Energy is hiring for a hands-on drilling technician based in the greater Baltimore, MD area. You will demobilize equipment, mix drilling mud, manage drill pipes, and operate auxiliary gear across projects while adhering to safety and quality standards.

This role requires physical labor, ability to travel within the Northeast, and a valid CDL or ability to obtain one. The position offers hybrid work flexibility and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery.
• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds overhead.
• OSHA 30; SST Card, CPR, First Aid; Rigging and Flagger certifications strongly preferred.
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with ability to obtain CDL.

Responsibilities

• Assist with demobilization of equipment.
• Mix drilling mud and grout.
• Handle drill pipe and casing.
• Operate auxiliary equipment between projects.
• Assist with loading/unloading of equipment and material.
• Drive company vehicles to and from job sites.
• Assist with drilling procedures on the drilling platform.
• Follow all safety and quality regulations and instructions.
• Keep equipment and drilling platform clean and orderly.
• Perform maintenance tasks at specified intervals.
• Perform inventory (stock intake) as required.
• Haul, lift 60-80 lbs, move, load and dig materials and equipment.
