Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Driller Trainee for quarry operations.

If you have experience with backhoes, skid steers, excavators, or loaders, you can learn drilling and blasting in a stable, employee-owned company. Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment is helpful.
• Valid Driver's License with own transportation.
• Experience as construction laborer or related roles.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Background screening for ATF is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned equipment safely.
• Follow safety policies and procedures at all times.
• Learn drill patterns and layouts and execute them as directed by supervisors.
• Inventory and manage drill accessories and supplies.
• Complete drill reports, hole sheets, and timecards accurately.
