Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting Inc. in the United States is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Driller Trainee (Construction). You will operate heavy equipment and learn drilling and blasting operations under supervision to support field projects.

The role offers hands-on training, competitive hourly pay $23.30–$27.50, a weekly travel allowance, and a comprehensive benefits package including ESOP, 401(k) and health plans. Overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy construction equipment is helpful.
• Valid driver's license with own transportation.
• Experience as construction laborer.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Background screening for ATF required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain assigned equipment safely.
• Learn drill patterns and layouts as directed by supervision.
• Inventory and maintain drill accessories.
• Report problems and terrain conditions to supervisor/foreman.
• Complete drill reports and timecards accurately.
• Support safety policies and procedures in daily work.
• Assist with travel and overtime as needed.
