  • Remove broken drills and fix shallow drilled holes.
  • Clean the drill equipment and work area.
  • Log in and out of the Proms computer.
  • Empty trashcans and put in proper recycle bin.

Description

Summit Anaheim currently has an open position for Drill Operator (1st shift). Summit Interconnect is a manufacturer of advanced technology printed circuit boards with a specific focus on complex rigid and rigid-flex product with unique expertise in RF/Microwave applications.

Position Summary

Under general supervision operates two or more numerically controlled machines simultaneously to drill low tolerance holes in panels. Independently performs complex and standard machine setups involving loading NC programs, aligning the pinning of the panels, visually and mechanically inspecting the panels, and making the required adjustments. Perform the necessary tasks to keep multiple machines at or near capacity output levels.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of

one (1) year experience in the printed circuit industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

1. Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

Job Requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent.

2. Minimum one (1) year experience in the printed circuit industry, in Drilling.

3. Understanding of industry standards and appropriate application.

4. Must be able to cooperate and communicate effectively with management and supervisory staff.

5. Ability to effectively follow company systems and procedures.

6. Must be able to work with little supervision.

7. Strong knowledge in military and rigid flex boards.
