Job summary

Miller Industries, Inc. in Ooltewah, TN, is hiring for an installation and assembly role in our towing equipment division. You will verify electrical, air, and hydraulic systems, build subassemblies, route hoses and wires, and connect components to order specifications.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, basic hand tools, and the ability to work overtime and weekends. We offer day shift options, a 4-on-4-off schedule, tuition reimbursement, health benefits, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have understanding of hydraulics and 12-volt DC electrical systems.
• Must have basic hand tools (wrenches, ratchets, sockets, wiring tools, etc.).
• Must be able to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Verifies functionality of electrical, air, and hydraulic systems.
• Performs inspections before unit is sent for final inspection.
• Builds subassemblies, route hoses, and wires.
• Cuts, drills, and fabricates brackets according to order specifications.
• Connects electrical wiring and cables.
• Installs lighting fixtures, controls, wiring, switches, and junction boxes.

Summary:

Performs installation and assembly of components for towing equipment by performing the following duties.
