Weeks Marine, Inc. seeks a Site Safety and Health Officer to coordinate HSE activities on dredging projects across the eastern seaboard and gulf coast.

The role ensures compliance with company and regulatory guidelines while supporting the SSHO Supervisor and HSE Manager. The position is on a 17 days on / 11 days off rotation with 12-hour shifts, requiring clear communication, incident management, and meticulous recordkeeping.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of cumulative construction or general industry safety experience within the last ten years.
• Ability to work rotational shift 17 days on; 11 days off, 12-hour shifts.
• Fluent use of English, both oral and written.
• Proficient with standard office software.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and administer HSE activities on Weeks Marine, Inc. projects per guidelines.
• Assist SSHO Supervisor and HSE Manager with APP and AHA development and policies.
• Communicate HSE concerns to project management daily.
• Perform hazard identifications, inspections, incident management, and reporting.
• Support training needs and deliver site-specific HSE indoctrination.
• Maintain records and training documentation according to requirements.
• Learn all dredging operations and support maintenance activities.
