A prominent engineering firm is seeking a qualified Site Safety & Health Officer (SSHO) for a dredging project at Garrison Dam, ND. The SSHO will manage all safety operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and implementing safety plans. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in similar roles and hold an OSHA 30-Hour Certification. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work in demanding field conditions, including long hours and outdoor work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer or SSHO.
• OSHA 30-Hour Certification is required.
• First Aid/CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce the Site Safety & Health Plan.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Conduct daily safety briefings and job hazard analyses.
• Monitor operations to identify and mitigate hazards.
• Perform regular site inspections and audits.
