Job summary

The Dutra Group is seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead dredging and marine construction projects in the San Rafael area. You will direct crews, plan staffing, and oversee resource allocation to ensure projects progress on schedule and within budget.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management and at least five years of marine construction or dredging experience, with proficiency in HCSS, Primavera, Excel and CAD. Regular site presence is required.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 5+ years in Marine Construction or Dredging; or equivalent.
• Language Ability: clear and effective communication to manage staff.
• Reasoning Ability: impartial, objective analysis and problem solving.
• Computer Skills: knowledge of HCSS, Primavera, Excel, CAD (Vista a plus).
• Physical Presence: regular, predictable attendance at project site is essential.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and directs crewing on field project assignments.
• Assists in obtaining, outfitting and maintaining equipment for projects.
• Understands scope of work and identifies changes to scope or site conditions.
• Documents daily resources used in performing work.
• Coordinates and implements alternative production methodologies.
• Reviews project proposals to determine timeframes, funding and staffing.
