Job summary

C&M Dredging Inc. is seeking a Dredge Oiler to perform preventive maintenance, lubrication, and servicing of diesel engines, pumps, hydraulic systems, and other dredging equipment on-site in Panama City Beach, Florida.

You will monitor machinery, record maintenance, and work with engineers and deck crews, following safety guidelines and company policies. This is a full-time position with steady, long-term work and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Dredge Oiler or in marine/heavy equipment maintenance.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable transportation.
• Driver's License.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• MSHA/OSHA certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.

Performed preventive maintenance, lubrication, and servicing of diesel engines, pumps, hydraulic systems, generators, and other dredging equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Monitored machinery performance, conducted routine inspections, identified mechanical issues, and assisted with repairs to minimize downtime. Maintained fluid levels, changed filters, cleaned equipment, and kept accurate maintenance records. Worked closely with engineers, mechanics, and deck crews while following company safety procedures, environmental regulations, and lockout/tagout practices.
