Job summary

Orion is seeking a 2nd Engineer to oversee the safe, efficient operation of engines, motors, and dredge equipment aboard the vessel. You will collaborate with the Chief Engineer and Deck Captain to schedule repairs and prevent downtime.

Candidates should have 6 months to 1 year dredging experience, be capable of obtaining a Tankerman license within a year, and be prepared to work 12-hour shifts on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Tankerman license within 1 year.

Responsibilities
